UN-27 is a member of the fiercest fighting force the world has ever known: The Unnaturals.
His human masters have raised and trained him in isolation for as long as he could remember. In that time, the Puritans molded the group of young super-soldiers to fulfill a single purpose: protecting the Puritan city from the abominations outside of the Great Dome. For centuries, they remained isolated from the sinful, globalized societies of the world and, when the Calamity finally claimed the planet, the Puritans were vindicated. Until the survivors outside approached. Beings that were once human have become something… else.
When his first mission in defense of the Puritans goes horribly awry, UN-27 will soon discover that perhaps the only source of information he has ever known cannot be trusted and that the abominations existing in the shattered remnants of the world are more than they appear. Will he be able to reconcile the violence of his upbringing with the catastrophic consequences it carries? Or will the legacy of thousands of years of senseless hate claim him?

About Dustin Dixon
Dustin Dixon is a student at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Studying Political Science, Psychology and Philisophy led him to write his first novel: The Unnaturals. On any given day, Dustin can be found with a cup of coffee, a glass of wine, or a Playstation controller in hand. That is, when he is not typing furiously on his laptop in the pursuit of one project or another.
